This is the inside of the door. Seriously.who does this?? All of the doors in the upstairs of our house have their original, beautiful decorative metal knob collars, key plates and hinges, but they were all painted over when someone re- painted the doors. I find it interesting, however, that all the closets had a key plate and evidently, a key that could lock them. I wasn't aware that most people needed to lock their closets, but I suppose they had their reasons!

Undeterred, I thought I'd go to the front desk and just act like a plus member and ask for the code to the locker room. It turns out this Y doesn't have a key pad code system, they have a card swipe system. Busted!!! Just by asking the wrong She said I could pay $15 per day to use the steam room. I decided to save the $15 and do the next best thing. I snuck in. I loitered outside the door until a member unlocked the door with their card and I just followed them in.

Around 3:30 in the night i woke up, as my bed was sliding around the room and i realized the earthquake. It took me three seconds to have my hand on the doorhandle of the front door, but i had the doors locked. The house started to shake in all It was cracking and i heared glass exploding in the living room. From second to second it got stronger and stronger while i was hecticly trying to stick the right key into the lock of the shaking door in the darkness.
