This is home design in this home in the hills of Oakland, California by Kenner Architects.

Floor-to-ceiling glass clears the way to unobstructed views. The predominantly south-southwest orientation required deep overhangs to cut down glare and soften the light quality in the home. The glass carport and secondary bedrooms are placed in a second building higher up the slope. A glass bridge spans a bamboo garden and connects the structures. Spare and rigorously Modern in its aesthetic, the home has only a handful of materials and even fewer colors. Pale blue scratch coat plaster, concrete floors, steel and glass window systems, and a mostly white and bleached wood composition of cabinetry and furnishings define the minimalist composition. Color is introduced through landscaping, artwork and the dramatic views.

From our side, this design is stunning and unique concept, I call it Boxy Home Design. If you check out some photos on this design you’ll realize that this design really sharp and strong enough.

If you have many books, or something small, you can use Simple Shelving System Design. This is called Leaning Shelves and designed by Voos Furniture, it was made of reclaimed redwood, salvaged from a dismantled water tower in New York.

Designed specifically with the elderly in mind, this is an inexpensive perch that can be attached to lamp posts as resting points. This aims to help senior citizens maintain health and mobility by providing an infrastructure for regular walking, an excellent light exercise. Comprising three identical panels, injection-molded from recycled wood plastic composite, the perch is not only cost-effective to produce but also helps in sustaining the environment.

This breathtaking home really caught our attention. The stone walls and wooden elements of the house are impressive design elements, but what can really leave one speechless is the natural environment. The lush vegetation and numerous palm trees make this a dream place to live in. Two fantastic pool “guard” the place and a fancy lighting system provides a nice atmosphere for late night swimming. The interior is modern, with contemporary furniture items. The Italian kitchen is all-equipped and has stainless steel work surfaces.
